IT Generalist – Infrastructure & Software (all genders)

Taufkirchen, Garching
Full-time
Permanent employee

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

THE WHAT
You own the reliable operation and continuous development of our internal IT infrastructure and digital tools. You manage our on-site IT systems, administer Microsoft 365, and develop internal web applications used by teams across the company every day.

You combine hands-on system administration with pragmatic software development. From keeping our network and endpoints running to building tools that simplify internal processes, you make sure our IT environment is reliable, secure, and ready to scale.

THE WHY
Our mission: Build a scalable IT and software environment that makes Blackwave faster, more efficient, and more independent.

We develop technology for the space industry. To do that, we need more than excellent production processes — we need an IT environment that grows with us. Our internal applications support teams across the company, from onboarding and HR planning to operational workflows and on-site information systems.

You make sure these systems work reliably, evolve with our needs, and don't depend on a single person. By connecting infrastructure, software, and automation, you build the digital foundation for Blackwave's continued growth.

YOUR IMPACT
You don't just manage IT systems. You build and maintain the reliable, secure, and scalable digital environment our entire company depends on.

You make sure that:
  • Our IT infrastructure and endpoints run reliably and are managed systematically
  • Microsoft 365, identity management, and collaboration tools are secure and efficiently configured
  • Internal web applications solve real problems and work reliably in everyday operations
  • New tools and applications are developed pragmatically, deployed securely, and documented properly
  • Knowledge is shared, technical standards are established, and dependencies on individual people are reduced

Your responsibilities in detail and by priority

You take ownership of our on-site IT infrastructure in Taufkirchen. You also handle employee onboarding and offboarding, including the setup and management of IT equipment.

→ Accountability: Take ownership of our on-site IT. Keep systems running reliably and solve problems at their root.

You administer and help develop our Microsoft 365 environment as part of the existing admin team. This includes Entra ID, Intune, Exchange, SharePoint, and Teams.

→ High Performance: Build a stable and secure IT foundation the entire team can rely on.

You use modern development tools, APIs, and automation to make internal processes more efficient. Your work may involve Microsoft Graph API, Power Platform, and IoT/MQTT technologies.

→ Playfulness: Experiment with new technologies, challenge existing workflows, and find simple, effective solutions.

You work closely with our Business Application Specialist. You help translate business requirements into technical solutions, define standards, and take responsibility for architecture, security, code reviews, and deployment processes.

→ Togetherness: Share your knowledge, support others in their development, and establish standards that make the entire team better.

You document systems, applications, configurations, and deployment processes so others can understand, operate, and further develop them.

→ Candor: Make technical dependencies visible, communicate risks openly, and create transparency others can rely on.
