YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

THE WHY
To end COPV failure in spaceflight. Production doesn’t stop because of strategy. It stops when material is missing, wrong or late. This role makes sure that never happens.

THE WHAT
You own the operational material flow on the shopfloor – from inbound to outbound.
You ensure:
  • material is in the right place at the right time 
  • processes are clean and reliable
  • production is always supplied
You don’t move parts.  You keep production running.

Your tasks in detail and priorities:
  • Your tasks in detail and by priority: Ensure material flow: 100% on-time material provision for production, no production delays due to internal logistics, optimized storage and provision processes,  physical delivery and pickup trips.
     High performance: Precision at speed.
  • Responsible for inventory and warehouse strategy: Transparent inventory structure, avoidance of overstock and bottlenecks, working capital optimization,  physical sorting, packaging, goods receipt and dispatch
    Accountability: Own your impact.
  • Process stability and compliance: Clear documentation and traceability, compliance with quality and safety standards, structured goods receipt and shipping processes
    Candor: Problems are made visible, not hidden.
  • Establishing KPI transparency: Guaranteeing on-time delivery internally >98%, measurably increasing inventory turnover, minimizing error rates in goods receipt
  • Increasing structure & efficiency: Layout optimization, identifying process automation, using ERP/WMS cleanly and disciplinedly
    → Relentless execution.
  • Prepare logistics for growth: Scalable warehouse strategy, preparation for production ramp-up, supplier & transport partner optimization.

YOUR PROFILE

  • Education & Experience
    • Vocational training in: logistics, warehouse operations, production, or similar
    • Experience in: operational logistics, shopfloor environments, material handling
  • Skills
    • Hands-on mindset
    • Structured and reliable work style
    • Physical resilience
    • ERP experience is a plus
    • Forklift license is a plus
